Structure diagnosis technology

Port structures located in a severe natural condition may be aged and damaged by waves. Therefore, we develop "Structure diagnostic instrument" by nondestructive technology to diagnose and investigate the port structures exposed to such condition.

This nondestructive technology with continuous-wave radar allows us to know the internal condition of the caisson, in a labor saving, efficient, and economical manner without destructive inspection, such as drilling onto the caisson of a breakwater, and promptly diagnose the soundness of an existing port structure.

Usage of "Continuous-wave radar" varying the
