Other experiments
Sand-drift experiment

The movement of the sands is observed.
The movement of the sands drifted by the winds on the reproduced beach is observed to review the measures against coastal erosion.
Stability experiment and wave overtopping experiment

Stability of and wave overtopping
over the block are observed.
Behaviors of a breakwater and various blocks against the waves are observed and measured to verify the stability against the waves. The volume and scene of wave overtopping the breakwater are observed and the obtained information are used as materials for engineering.
Ship oscillation experiment

The improvement in the facilities
against oscillating ships are verified.
Some of incoming waves at the port may cause great oscillation of ships that may disturb loading and unloading passengers and luggage.
In this study, reduction of ship oscillation is verified through various improvements in the block walls.
