Though the wave-depressing effect of the two-line submerged breakwater is less than that of the submerged breakwater with rapidly-depressing effect, as shown in this figure, we expect that the two-line submerged breakwater suppresses water level quite well because of the gradual occurrences of breaking water, contracted flow, and loss toward both of the submerged breakwaters at offshore and nearshore sides.
